You must be an owner to be able to restore.

Fortunately GitHub has an undelete feature.

Restoring access to the crate organization

In the unlikely event of the Crate organization being hacked and all the owners changed, we would have to contact GitHub support to regain access.

Fortunately, 2FA is enforced for all members.

If the crate organization is deleted

It is not possible to restore! We would have to create it from scratch and re-create all repositories from working copies on developer machines.
